LEARN AND BURN
Spring L&B April 6th, 2024, live fire April 7th.
A full day of Prescribed Fire hands-on training. Learn Firing techniques, Weather Observation, Tools, Holding strategies, Water delivery systems, and Suppression tactics. A follow-up Live fire event is generally scheduled shortly after the learn and burn.
BURN PLAN WORKSHOP
Whether you are a landowner, contractor, or agency employee, every burn needs a plan. In this workshop, we go through the WA DNR Broadcast Burn Plan template and how to apply for a permit in the WA DNR Burn Portal. Also, there will be discussions on technology and apps to assist with mapping and fuel loading.
TOOL TRAILER CHECKOUT
Members have exclusive access to our Tool Trailer for their burns, offering a wide range of specialized tools and equipment. This convenient service ensures you have everything needed for a safe and effective burn, supporting your land management efforts with the right resources at your fingertips.
